How Aulea processes data for public pages, booking requests, account access, and AI-assisted translation.
Essential cookies only
Aulea uses login and security cookies, not ad or analytics tracking for the MVP.
Public visibility stays controlled
Only artists and projects explicitly marked public are visible on public routes.
AI translation is explicit
Project text is sent to a configured AI translation provider only when a creator triggers translation.
General
We respect your privacy. This policy is an MVP document aligned with Swiss nFADP and GDPR principles.

What data we collect
Account and authentication
- Email address and authentication/session data (managed via Supabase Auth).
Profile data (Creator / Public pages)
- Project and artist information you provide (names, photos, bios, links).
- Public visibility is controlled by you: only projects/artists marked as public are visible on public pages.
Booking requests
When someone submits a booking request, we process:
- requested date, project identifier (slug),
- requester name (optional), requester email, message.
AI-assisted translation
When a creator explicitly uses the translation tool, selected project text and translation context (for example glossary terms) may be sent to the configured AI translation provider.
Purpose of processing
We process personal data to:
- provide platform functionality (public pages, calendars, widgets),
- process booking requests and enable communication,
- operate authentication and protect the service against abuse,
- generate creator-requested translations,
- maintain and improve reliability (debugging, error logs).
Service providers (processors)
We use the following third-party processors to run Aulea:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and delivery (global infrastructure).
- Supabase — database and authentication (region depends on the project configuration).
- Resend — email notifications (only if configured; otherwise requests are logged server-side).
- Configured AI translation provider — only when a creator triggers translation (for example OpenAI or another configured provider).
Depending on configuration, data may be processed in Switzerland, the EU, and/or the United States. We choose reputable providers and aim to apply appropriate safeguards.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication and security (login sessions).
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not use third-party tracking cookies (for example Google Analytics) for the MVP release.
Data retention
We retain booking requests and operational data only as long as necessary for the platform and business purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see contact above).
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.
